Abstract Landscapes

I’m inspired by textures and patterns found in nature and love to explore mark-making, mono-printing, mixed media, acrylic
and watercolor. My favorite things are building up layers of paint, graphite, collage, and unexpected marks to create mixed media work. Through my work, I enjoy exploring the contrast between the organic unpredictability of paint and mark-making with the structure of geometric shapes that result in unique harmony. I relish in the textures and layers, and the feeling of never really
​having control over what you are creating.
